BHOLA, Dec 28, 2022 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion in separate drives in Sadar upazila yesterday held three members of the inter-district dacoit gang including gang leader Md Shahjahan alias Shaju Maji.
 
The two other detainees are Md Nirob, 34, and Abul Bashar, 32. All of them were the residents in Sadar upazila, Commander of RAB-8 lieutenant colonel Mahmudur Rahman said in a press conference this afternoon. 
 
He said on information, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in different parts of the upazila and arrested those, who used to attack fishermen in the River Meghna and loot belongings.
 
 “The dacoits also used to abduct fishermen in the river and ask ransom” the Commander added.

RAB men also seized sharp weapons and cash money during the raid.
