CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 17, 2023 (BSS)-Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 378 bottles of Indian phensidyl from Shibganj in the district early today.

The arrested person is Md. Mohibur Rahman, 30 of Pirojpur Sonapur turn under Shibganj upazila in the district.

RAB said, acting on detective information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided a mango orchard at Sonapur Dakkhinpara village under Shibganj upazila at around 12:10 am and arrested the aforesaid person with the phensidyl.

Later, the elite force handed him over to the police of Shibganj thana with a case, the sources added.
