LALMONIRHAT, Jan 22, 2023 (BSS) - A case was filled with Patgram Thana here 
last night over the murder of a veteran Freedom Fighter M Wajed Ali.
 
Rifat Hasan, son of the deceased freedom fighter, filed the murder case 
accusing one Nahiduzzaman Babu and a few unidentified killers.
 
The 68-year-old M Wajed Ali was hacked to death in front of his house in 
Patgram municipality area on Friday night. He was buried with state honour at 
his birthplace Jagotbel on Saturday night.

"We are trying to hold the accused," Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Patgram Thana 
Omar Faruk said.
 
M Wajed Ali was the Principal of Fatema Pre-Cadet and Kindergarten that 
sacked accused Nadiduzzaman Babu around a year ago.
