TANGAIL, Feb 15, 2023 (BSS) - Three people were killed in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a microbus in Ghatail upazila of the district last night.

The deceased were identified as Shona Mia, 22, hailed from Lawa village of the upazila, Alomgir Hossain, 25, and Shamim Hossain, 26, residents of Ashtochollisha village of the upazila. All of them worked at an engineering workshop at Bir Ghatail.

Officer-in-Charge of Ghatail Police Station Azharul Islam said the accident occurred around 10 pm last night at Horipur on the Tangail-Mymensingh highway. Shona Mia, Alomgir and Shamim died on the spot.

A case was filed in this regard with Ghatail Police Station.
