NARSINGDI, June 24, 2021 (BSS) - The newly joined Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Narsingdi Abu Nayeem Mohammed Maruf Khan held an introductory meeting with local Journalists at his office conference room yesterday.

A total of 80 journalists working in different local and national dailies, news agencies and electronic media in the district attended the meeting.

President of Narsingdi Press Club Makhan Das, its General Secretary Mazaharul Parvez and senior journalists Nibaran Roy also spoke, among others, in the meeting.

The participants welcomed the Deputy Commissioner and hoped that Narsindgi will be a prosperous and developed district by his dynamic leadership.

The Deputy Commissioner sought cooperation from all to work together to make the district a prosperous and developed one.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General)Masfiqur Rahman was also present in the meeting while Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mohammad Shah Alam Miah conducted it.
