BAGERHAT, March 6, 2023 (BSS)- Two truck helpers were killed in a road
accident on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in Chairman Bari Moor area under
Fakirhat upazila of the district this morning.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident occurred when a Khulna-bound speeding fish-laden truck from
Gopalganj hit a parked sand-laden truck from behind in the area around 7am as
its driver lost control over the steering, leaving the helpers of the two
vehicles dead on the spot, officer-in-charge (OC) of Mollahat Highway Police
Station Nur Hossain told BSS.

Police recovered the bodies from the spot and sent those to Bagerhat Sadar
Hospital morgue, the OC added.
