RAJSHAHI, August 16, 2021 (BSS)-Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested seven alleged members of a juvenile gang with huge lethal weapons from a school in the district this noon.

RAB sources said the arrested persons were identified as Muhammad Sagar, 19, Rubel Hossain, 22, Dipu Ghosh, 19, Azim Uddin, 24, Masud Rana, 21, Muhammad Jewel, 19, and Bakul Hossain, 21.

On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a sudden raid at AFG Pilot Girls High School in Srimantapur area under Godagari Upazila of the district this noon and arrested the members.

The operation team also seized huge lethal weapons and seven mobile phones with eleven sim cards from their possessions.

A case was recorded with Godagari Police Station in this connection and the arrested persons were handed over to police this afternoon.
