RANGPUR, April 15, 2023 (BSS) - Police arrested an alleged female drug dealer
with 243 bottles of Phensedyl from her rental house in Purbo Shalbon area of
Rangpur city last night.
 
The arrested woman is Most Shilpi Begum, 25, wife of Md. Litan of Master Para
village in Aditmari upazila of Lalmonirhat district.
 
"On a tip-off, a police team from Rangpur Kotwali Police Station conducted a
raid in the area and arrested the woman with the contraband phensedyl from
the house," Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station Mahfuzar Rahman told
reporters today.
 
She was living as a tenant at the house of one Anwarul Islam in Purbo Shalbon
area of Rangpur city, he said, adding: "A case has been lodged in this
connection with Rangpur Kotwali Police Station."
