SATKHIRA, April 28, 2023 (BSS) - Boishakhi Mela began in the district town today.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Humayun Kabir inaugurated the Mela in Shahid Abdur Razzak Park this morning releasing balloons.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Sheikh Moinul Islam Moin, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Fatema Tuz Zohra, Assistant Commissioner Shahnewaj Tanveer, General Secretary of district Shilpakala academy Sheikh Mushfiqur Rahman and veteran freedom fighter Manik Sikder were present.

Around 50 stalls have been set up in the fair ground. The fair will continue till May 13.
