NATORE, Aug 19, 2021 (BSS) – A medicinal plant corner was set up at Uttara Ganabhaban in the district today.

Deputy Commissioner Shamim Ahmed inaugurated the corner, covering two bighas of land, at around 11 am by planting a Jafran sapling. The Ganabhaban was also opened today for all.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Ashraful Islam (revenue), Additional Deputy Commissiner Nadim Sarwar, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Afroza Khatun and Kholabaria Oushadi Gram Unnayan Samabaya Samiti president Md Joynal Abedin were present, among others.   

Around 82 species of medicinal saplings were planted in the corner.
