CHUADANGA, May 13, 2023 (BSS) - District Detective Branch (DB) of Police, in

a drive, last night arrested three people with four flat gold bars in
Jibannagar upazila of the district.

The detainees were identified as Mazharul Islam Paltu, 32, hailed from
Ghurgachi village, Shahbuddin Khan, 36, a resident of Barandi village and
Asir Uddin, 42, hailed from Ghurgachi village under the upazila.
 
DB police sources said, on information, they conducted a raid on Shahpur-
Raipur road in the upazila around 8 pm and nabbed the trio with the gold
bars.

Assistant Police Super Jakia Sultana confirmed the matter.
