HABIGANJ, June 04, 2023 (BSS) - A teenage boy was killed and two people were injured as their motorcycle hit the boy in Nabiganj Upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Shiblu Mia, 14, hailed from Muraura village under the upazila. He was student of class-nine at Dinarpur High School.

Local people said the accident occurred at Gaznaipur on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway this morning, when Shiblu was going to school. Shiblu was taken to MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, where the duty doctors declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Sherpur Highway Thana Parimal Chandra Dev confirmed the matter.
