CHATTOGRAM, July 6, 2023 (BSS) – The health department of Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) will provide ward level corona vaccine on July 10 and 11 at its corporation area.

During the drive, Pfizer Variant Containing Vaccine (VCV) 3rd and 4th doses and Sinopharma 1st and 2nd doses will be administered to the persons aged 18 years and above.

The CCC Chief Health Officer Dr Salim Akhtar Chowdhury at a coordination meeting informed that the CCC will provide ward level corona vaccination on July 10 and 11 at its own area.  

He said the rate of covid cases is decreasing compared to earlier, relaxation is being noticed among the people.

Besides, the people who have not yet received the corona vaccination in the slum areas should also be vaccinated. He called upon all the Zonal Medical Officers to make a specific action plan and implement the vaccination program in order to implement the Covid-19 vaccination program at the upcoming ward level drive.

The CCC health standing committee member and councilor Abdus Salam Masum, Health Officer Dr. Md. Imam Hossain Rana, Zonal Medical Officer Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Dr. Tapan Kumar Chakraborty, Dr. Md. Hasan Murad, Dr. Akil Mahmud, Dr. Jewel Mahajan among others attended the coordination meeting.
