JAMALPUR, Aug 25, 2021 (BSS) - State Minister for Religious Affairs

Md Faridul Haque Khan today urged the young generation to know about
the struggle and sacrifice of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman.

  "The young generation should know the struggle and sacrifice that
Bangabandhu made throughout his life for establishment of an
independent state," he told a discussion and doa-mahfil organized by
Gaibandha Union No-10 unit of Awami League in Jamalpur as the chief
guest on the occasion of 46th Martyrdom Anniversary of Father of the
Nation and National Mourning Day.

  With Gaibandha Union No-10 unit of Awami League President Md Muslim
Uddin Sarkar in the chair, it was attended, among others, by Islampur
Upazila Parishad Chairman Advocate SM Jamal Abdun Naser, Islampur
Upazila Awami League General Secretary Advocate Md Abdus Salam,
Islampur Municipality Mayor Abdul Quader Sheikh, Islampur Upazila
Parishad Vice Chairman Md Abdul Khaleq Akhand and Chairman of
Gaibandha Union No-10 Abdul Makshudur Rahman Anshari.

  Later, special prayers were offered for eternal peace of the
departed souls of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman and his martyred family members and all other martyrs of August
15 carnage.
