JAMALPUR, July 9, 2023 (BSS)-Former cabinet secretary to the government Kabir Bin Anwar has said that the smart corner will play a vital role to uphold the development activities of the government to the general people.

 
It will also help to prevent any sorts of rumor against the government, he said this while exchanging views with cross section of people after inaugurating a ‘smart corner’ at District Awami League office at Bakultola area in the town here yesterday as chief guest.

The former cabinet secretary said the initiative for setting up the smart corner has been taken for building Smart Bangladesh by encouraging the leaders and workers in using information technology and reaching the messages of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the door steps of the cpmmon people.
 
He called upon the leaders and workers of the party to work against anti-liberation forces and to expedite the on-going development activities of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Chaired by Advocate Muhammad Baki Billah, President of District AL, the function was addressed, among others, by AL central leader Marufa Aktar Popy, Engineer Mozaffar Hossain, MP and Bizan Kumar Chanda, General Secretary of the District Awami League.

Earlier, he placed floral wreath at the moral of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and planted sapling at the party office premises.
