GAIBANDHA, Oct 20, 2023 (BSS)- Former lawmaker and boat aspirant candidate
from Gaibandha-4 constituency Principal Abul Kalam Azad said it is possible to
build "Smart Bangladesh" under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as
her government is working to transform the country into that term from a digital one.
 
"The country has been turned into Digital Bangladesh in 2021 and it has
graduated to middle income country from LDCs under the dynamic and prudent
leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina who is dreaming to turn the
country into "Smart Bangladesh" by 2041," he said.
 
Principal Abul Kalam Azad who is active to contest forthcoming Parliamentary
election from the constituency made the comments while addressing a public
rally on "Building Smart and Youthful Bangladesh" as the chief guest held on
the premises of Fashitala High School under Gobuindaganj upazila of the
district yesterday.

Unprecedented development had been achieved in all sectors of the country
during the rule of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from 2009 to 2023, he added.

He has sought votes for boat to comeback the Awami League into power to
materialize the dream of Sheikh Hasina.

A large number of people attended the rally.
