RAJSHAHI, Oct 23, 2023 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in an
anti-crime drive, arrested an alleged top-listed firearms trader with two
firearms in the district last night.
 
The arrested was identified as Muhammad Alamin, 26, son of late Solainman Ali
of Yazpur village under Godagari upazila of the district, RAB sources said
this noon.
 
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force (RAB-5) conducted a drive in
Alaipur area under Bagha upazila around 10.30 pm and arrested him.

The RAB team also seized one foreign pistol and one-shooter gun from his
possession.
 
A case was filed with Bagha Police Station in this connection and the
arrested person, along with the seized illegal goods, was handed over to the
police.
