CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Oct 31, 2023 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in two separate drives arrested four persons for preparing, keeping and selling cholai wine on Monday afternoon.
 
The arrestees were identified as Shree Rabon, 40, of Azira Boiltha village, Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, 52, of Namosankarbati Dihipara, Md. Dulal, 30, of Hossaindanga and Md. Mesbaul Babu, 25, of Bidirpur village all under Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila.
 
On a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted the drives at Azira Boiltha village under Jhilim union of the upazila and arrested them with the wine, a RAB official said.
 
Later the elite force handed them over to the police of Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station.
