NARAIL, Nov 1, 2023 (BSS) - The National Youth Day-2023 was observed in the district as elsewhere in the country today.

With the aim of building 'Sonar Bangla' as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and keeping in mind the efficiency, creativity, self-confidence and enthusiasm of the youths, this year's theme of the day is "Smart Jubo Sammridha Desh, Bangabandhur Bangladesh".

Marking the day, district administration and the Department of Youth Development (DYD) chalked out elaborate programmes in the district

On the occasion, a discussion was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner office this morning, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Ashfaqul Haque Chowdhury presided over the function.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Swashati Sheel, Additional Superintendent of Police Dolan Miah, Narail Municipality Mayor Anjuman Ara, Deputy Director of Youth Development Department Sanjit Kumar Das and District Women Affairs Officer Moushumi Rani Majumdar, among others, spoke on the occasion.
