JOYPURHAT, Nov 2, 2023 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed and his pillion passenger injured as their motorcycle plunged into a roadside ditch in Panchbibi upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Jabaidul Islam, 45, hailed from Uchai Koimari village of the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Panchbibi Police Station Jahidul Haque said the accident took place in Dargar crossing area this morning. Jabaidul died on the spot.

Injured co rider school teacher Shafir Uddin was admitted to a local hospital.
