NATORE, Nov 4, 2023 (BSS) - The Community Policing Day-2023 was observed in the district today in a befitting manner.

Marking the day, Natore district police and district Community Policing Committee jointly chalked out various programmes including a colorful rally and discussion.

On the occasion of the day, a colorful rally was brought out from the Sadar Thana Police premises which paraded the important streets in the district town. Member of Parliament of Natore-2 constituency (Natore Sadar and Naldanga) Md. Shafiqul Islam Shimul led the rally.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abu Nacher Bhanya, Community Policing Natore District Committee President Abdus Salam, Superintendent of Police Md. Tariqul Islam, among others, were participated in the rally.

The speakers said the community policing has been playing an important role to build up social movement against crime, corruption and anti-social activities side by side with maintaining peace and law and order in the society.
