NARAIL, Nov 5, 2023 (BSS) - The driver of Narail municipality mayor was killed and three others, including the mayor, were injured in a road accident in the Voakhali area of the district town this afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Sujon Karmokar, 38, hailed from Mohishkhola area of the district.

Police said the accident occurred as Sujon lost his control over the steering, leaving four people injured.

He was taken to Sadar Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead, said Officer-in-Charge of Narail Sadar Thana Obaidur Rahman.
