NAOGAON, Nov 11, 2023 (BSS) - The 51st founding anniversary of Awami Jubo League, the youth wing of the ruling Awami League, was celebrated in the district today in a befitting manner.
 
Bangladesh Awami Jubo League commonly known as Jubo League is the first youth organisation of Bangladesh founded by Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani under the direction of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman through a youth convention at the Institution of Engineers on November 11, 1972.

The organisation was established with the aim of involving the youths in the struggle for a non-communal, democratic and exploitation-free Bangladesh.

Marking the anniversary in front of the party office of Jubo League at Sarishahati junction in the town, the leaders and workers hoisted the national flag and the party flag to the tune of the national anthem this morning.
 
Later, the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, founder of Jubo League Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani and portraits of four national leaders were paid tributes by placing wreaths at the party office.

On the occasion, a discussion was held in front of Jubo league party office this morning, while District Jubo League President Advocate Khodadad Khan Pitu presided over the function.
 
District Awami League Joint Secretary Javed Jahangir Sohel, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Alhaj Md. Rafiqul Islam, District Jubo League General Secretary Biman Kumar Roy, among others, spoke.

Later, a colorful rally was brought out from the party office in the district town which was paraded the important streets of the district town.
