MAGURA, Nov 12, 2023 (BSS) - Cheques worth of Taka 10.60 lakh were
distributed among 212 patients with chronic diseases in the district today.

Sifuzzaman Shikhor, MP, distributed the cheques at a function held at Freedom Fighter Asaduzzaman auditorium in the town this noon.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abu Naser presided over the function. It was addressed, among others, by district unit Awami League President AFM Abdul Fattah, General Secretary Pankaj Kumar Kundu, Additional Police Super Md Kalimullah, Upazial Parishad Chairman Abu Nasir Bablu and municipality mayor Khurshid Haider Tutul. 

Cheques worth of Taka 6 lakh were also distributed among 35 voluntary organizations at the function.
