GAIBANDHA, NOV 14, 2023 (BSS)-As many as 48 development projects of the district have been inaugurated today amid much enthusiasm to the concerned.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated these projects and its activities this noon virtually as chief guest.

 Earlier, the conference room of Deputy Commissioner (DC) virtually connected with the Gana Bhaban, the official residence of the PM and the officials and peoples representatives here witnessed the inaugural ceremony of the projects by the PM in big screen set up in the room.

Whip of the Jatiya Sangshad and local lawmaker Mahabub Ara Begum Gini, DC Kazi Nahid Rasul, chairman of Zila Parishad and president of district Awami League Abu Bakar Siddique, Police Super Md. Kamal Hossain, chairman of Sadar upazila parishad Shah Sarwar Kabir, executive engineer of the Public Works Department Rafiqul Hasan, executive engineer of the Local Government Engineering Department Sabiul Islam, executive engineer of the Education Engineering Department Belal Hossain, district level officials, senior journalists and invited guests attended the function.

The projects included academic buildings, government offices and community clinics.
Apart from it, land ownership documents were also handed over to 10 landless families of the district.
