SUNAMGANJ, Nov 20, 2023 (BSS) - Leaders and activists of Dowarabazar upazila unit of Awami League (AL)in the district today held a 'peace and development' rally at Sadar Union Parishad against BNP-Jamaat's violence, arson-terrorism and anarchy in the country.

Dowarabazar upazila and Masimpur village units of Awami League (AL) organised the rally.

The peace and development rally was held at the Sadar union of Dowarabazar upazila of the district.

Dowarabazar Upazila Parishad Chairman Dewan Al Tanvir Ashrafi Chowdhury addressed the function as the chief guest with Masimpur village Awami League unit president Haji Sirajul Islam in the chair.
 
The chief guest said BNP-Jamaat is conspiring to overthrow the Awami League government and they created anarchy and killed innocent people in the name of movement. 

Vice-President of Sunamganj District Krishak League Babu Guru Das Dey, Joint Convener of Upazila Krishak League Tajul Islam, its member Kabir Mia, Upazila Awami League Leaders Mizanur Rahman Mizu, Noor Uddin Ahmed, Golap Mia, Abdul Hamid, Senior Vice-President of Dowarabazar Sramik League Amru Mia, Sunamganj District Chhatra League Vice-President Shamim Hussain, among others, were present.
