MANIKGANJ, Nov 22, 2023 (BSS) - Senior Vice President of district unit Awami League (AL) and valiant freedom fighter ABM Helal Uddin died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka yesterday at the age of 73.

Helal Uddin was the former chairman of Katigram Union Parishad under Manikganj Sadar Upazila of the district.

He left behind wife, a son, a daughter and a host of well wishers to mourn his death.

Helal Uddin was buried at his village graveyard with state honour after namaz-e-janaza last evening.
