CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 23, 2023 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged arms trader with a foreign made pistol, two magazines and five bullets from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila last night.

The arrested man was identified as Md. Rabbi Biswas alias Sohag, 21, a resident of Dari Naricha village under Iswardy upazila in Pabna district.

On a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in Atahar Bulonpur Malpukur area of the upazila at around 11.15 pm and arrested Rabbi with the arms and ammunition, a RAB official said.

Later, the elite force handed him over to the police of Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station.
