SIRAJGANJ, Nov 28, 2023 (BSS)- A motorcyclist was killed and another injured in a road accident on the Sirajganj-Pabna highway in Shyamoli Para bus stand area under Ullapara upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Sagar Ali, 17, son of Golam Hossain of Kazitol village under Bhangura upazila of Pabna district.

The accident occurred in the area when a Dhaka-bound C Line Paribahan bus from Pabna hit the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction around 3pm, leaving Sagar died on the spot, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ullapara Police Station Nazrul Islam said.

The injured was admitted to the local hospital, he said.

Police seized the bus from the spot.

The body has been handed over to the family members, the OC added.
