CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Dec 4, 2023 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four alleged drug peddlers, including a woman, with 2.4 kgs of hemp in Gomastapur upazila of the district early today.

The arrestees were identified as Mst. Morzina, 30, Md. Towfizul Islam, 60, Md. Tariqul Islam, 33, and Md. Al Amin, 35, all area residents of Gomastapur upazila of the district.
 
On a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid at the houses of Morzina and Towfizul in Bongpur village of the upazila around 12.30 am and arrested them with the hemp, a RAB official said.

Later the elite force handed them over to the police of Gomostapur Police Station.
