MANIKGANJ, Dec 6, 2023 (BSS) - The Department of Narcotic Control (DNC) arrested an alleged woman drug peddler with 2002 pieces of yaba tablets from Jhitka Maddhapara area under Harirampur upazila of the district today.

The arrested woman was identified as Monira Akter, 20, wife of Shamim Mia, a resident of the same area.

On a top-off, a DNC team conducted a raid in the area and arrested the woman with the yaba tablets from her house, said deputy director of DNC M Hamimur Rashid.
