MANIKGANJ, Dec 10, 2023(BSS) - The International Human Rights Day was

observed in the district like elsewhere across the country today in a
befitting manner.

This year's theme of the day is "Dignity, Freedom, and Justice for All".

To mark the day, a discussion meeting was held at the conference room of
Deputy Commissioner, organised by Manikganj District Administration.

Deputy Commissioner Rahana Akther addressed the programme as the chief guest
with Additional Deputy Magistrate (ADM) Sanjida Yeasmin in the chair.

The function was addressed, among others, by Additional Superintendent of
Police (SP) Sujon Sarker and Civil Surgeon Dr Moazzam Ali Khan Chowdhury.

All the district level officers, elites in the town, teachers and NGOs
representatives, among others, attended the function.
