MEHERPUR, Dec 14, 2023 (BSS) - The Martyred Intellectual Day was observed here today.

On the occasion, a discussion was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner this morning. With Deputy Commissioner Md Shamim Hasan in the chair, the discussion was addressed, among others, by Zila Parishad Chairman Abdus Salam, Civil Surgeon Dr Mohiuddin Ahmed, Deputy Director of district Local Govt Division Md Shamim Hossain, Additional District Magistrate Tanvir Hasan Ruman and Senior Assistant Commissioner Rony Khatun.

Earlier, the DC, Zila Mukhtijoddha Unit, Awami League and various cultural and social organizations placed floral wreaths at the Shaheed Minar.
