MAGURA, Dec 14, 2023 (BSS) - The Martyred Intellectual Day 2023 was observed

with due respect and befitting manner in the town today.

Marking the day, the district administration, Awami League district unit and
different socio-cultural organisations have chalked out elaborate programmes.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abu Naser Beg placed floral wreaths at the
martyred freedom fighters memorial on the premises of Nomani Field here in
the morning.

Later, Police Super Md Moshiuddoula Reza, Civil surgeon Dr Shamim Kabir,
district unit Awami League President Abdul Fattah, Secretary Pankaj Kumar
Kundu, Principal of Hossain Shahid Sarwardy College Rizvi Zaman and the
Principal of Government Mohila College Abdus Sattar, among others, also
placed floral wreaths.

The programme was followed by a discussion at the premises of Nomani Field
with Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Abu Naser Beg in the chair.
