TUNGIPARA, Gopalganj, Dec 15, 2023 (BSS) - Newly appointed chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Engineer Md Mohiuddin Ahmed today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.

After laying the wreath, he stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation.

Later, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975.

A special prayer was offered seeking longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members.

The BTRC chairman also signed the visitors' book at the Tungipara Mausoleum Complex.

Senior officers of BTRC, among others, were present.
