HABIGANJ, Dec 15, 2023 (BSS) - Police in a drive arrested three drug peddlers

with 12 kilograms of ganja from Baniachang Upazila of the district this
morning.

The detainees were identified as Syed Ali, 49, hailed from Sadar Upazila,
Sidur Rahman, 32, an inhabitant of Habiganj municipality area and Azim Ullah,
21, resident of Chunarughat Upazila.

Police said on information they conducted a raid in Kagpasha area of
Baniachang Upazila at around 10 am and arrested them with the ganja. A pickup
van was also seized during the drive.

Officer-in-Charge of Baniachang Thana Delwar Hossain confirmed the matter.
