HABIGANJ, Dec 17, 2023 (BSS)-A fire broke out at a ceramic factory located at Madhobpur Upazila of the district here this morning.

The fire originated at the chemical godown of the Star Ceramic factory at around 9 am and spread into the surrounding areas. Three units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence department from Shayeshtaganj and Madhobpur rushed to the spot and doused the fire after fighting for two hours, said Station Officer of Shaistaganj Fire Station Ariful Islam.   

He said the causes of the fire are still unknown. Loses have not been estimated yet.
