BOGURA, Dec 23, 2023 (BSS)- A total of 500 blankets were distributed among 
the poor, cold- affected people of railway station area under Sadar upazila 
of the district last night from the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Saiful Islam handed over the blankets as the 
chief guest in the railway station area under Sadar upazila of the district 
last night. 

The chief guest said the blankets have been distributed so that poor, 
helpless people do not suffer in winter.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Al Maruf, Additional Deputy 
Commissioner (Revenue) Nilufa Yasmin, Additional Deputy Commissioner 
(Education and ICT) Afsana Yasmin, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer 
Golam Kibria, among others, were present.
