GOPALGANJ, Dec 27, 2023 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion in a drive held two

drug peddlers with 40 kilograms of ganja from Kashiani upazila of the
district today.

The detainees were identified as Amjad Hossain Parvej, 35, and Mahabur
Rahman, 24. Both were the residents in Brahmanbaria district.

RAB-6 sources said on information a team of the force seized a pickup van in
Vatiapara bus stand area in Kashiani upazila this morning. Searching the
pickup they found the quantity of ganja. Amjad Hossain and Mahabur Rahman
were arrested at that time.

A case was filed under Narcotics Control Act.
