JAMALPUR, Dec 30, 2023 (BSS) - Education Department will disburse 29 lakh 42

thousand 882 text books among Madrasa and secondary level students in the
district on January 1.

District Education Office sources said the text books will be disbursed among
the students of Ebtedayee (class one to five), Dakhil (class six to nine),
secondary (class six to nine), vocational (SSC), vocational (Dakhil) and
trade in the new year-2024.

The office said 63,5,332 books will be disbursed among Ebtedayee students,
6,07,554 books Dakhil students,5,880 books for Dakhil (vocational)
students,15,75,451 books for secondary students, 80,647 books for SSC
(vocational) students and 31,780 trade books.

Besides, 6,238 books will also be disbursed among the secondary students of
English version.

District Education Officer, Halima Khatun said all text books have been
dispatched in all the institutions for distribution among the students from
January 1 next. Deputy Commissioner will formally inaugurate the book
distribution programme at Zila School, she added.
