KHAGRACHHARI, Sept 10, 2021 (BSS) - A boy drowned and another one missing
while taking bathe in the River Chengi in Uttor Ganjpara area of the district
this afternoon.

  The deceased was identified as Md Selim, son of Md Didar Hossain, hailed
from Uttor Ganjpara.

   Police said the incident occurred around 12:30 pm while Selim was taking
bathe along with his friend Rifat who is still missing.

   Locals rescued Selim and brought him to Khagrachhari Sadar Hospital where
the duty doctor declared him dead.
