NAOGAON, Jan 7, 2024 (BSS) - Returning Officer Golam Maula said 52.21 percent
votes were cast of the district in the national election held today.
Golam Maula who is the Deputy Commissioner of Naogaon said voters cast their
votes in festive mood. "No untoward event has been noticed" he added.
There are 18,63,159 voters under the five constituencies in the district.
Among them 9,28,737 are mail and 9,34,413 are female voters.
Polls in the constituency Naogaon-2 was suspended as a candidate died of
heart attack. Voting began at 8 am that ended up at 4 pm.
