BOGURA, Jan 16, 2024 (BSS) - A total of 200 blankets were distributed from the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund among the cold-affected poor and helpless people of non-Bengalis living in Latifpur Colony of the district town last night (Monday).

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md. Saiful Islam handed over the blankets as the chief guest among the cold-affected poor people of non-Bengalis living in Latifpur Colony of the district town last night.

Additional District Commissioner (General) Mohammad Al Maruf and other district administration officials, among others, were present on the occasion.

The DC urged the rich people to stand by the cold affected poor people to mitigate their sufferings.
