JAMALPUR, January 16, 2024 (BSS)- The members of online journalists network today accorded a reception to the newly elected member of parliament (MP) Abul Kalam Azad at    here.

On arrival at the office of the journalists’ organization, they received the newly elected MP with a bouquet who was elected from Jamalpur-5 constituency.

Abul Kalam Azad said the journalists should cover objective news for the interest of general people and should give utmost priority to the welfare and development of the country.

President of the organization Jahangir Selim presided over the reception progrmme.

Senior Vice-president of District Awami League Faruk Ahmed Chowdhury, President of Swachip District Unit Dr Mosaer-ul Islam Raton, BSS Correspondent Md Mukhlesur Rahman, Smoy TV correspondent Jahangir Alam, Protham Alo Correspondent Md Abdul Aziz, Samoyer Alo Correspondent Md Mustafizur Rahman Kaiol and Jamuna TV correspondent Sagor Farazi, spoke among others, at the meeting.

The journalists also handed over a crest to the MP who was also the Principal Secretary to The Prime Minister.
