KUSHTIA, Jan 17, 2024 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a

drive arrested a fugitive, who was awarded life-term imprisonment in a drug
case in Kushtia in 2021, from the capital's Saver area last night.

Kushtia RAB disclosed the matter in a press briefing at its camp this
morning.

The arrested was identified as Moina Khatun, 37, hailed from Naudapara
village in Bheramara upazila of the district.

A charge was framed against the woman under Narcotics Control Act with
Bheramara Thana in 2015 while Moina caught by the police with heroin from
naudapara area.

She was awarded life-term imprisonment by the District Additional and
Sessions Judge in 2021.

Moina was handed over to Bheramara Thana Police later.
