NATORE, Jan, 19, 2024 (BSS) - A total of 550 blankets were distributed from the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund among the helpless, cold-hit people living in various unions, including Madhnagar and Piprul unions, under Naldanga upazila of the district last night (Thursday). 

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abu Naser Bhuiyan handed over the blankets as the chief guest among the helpless, cold-hit people living in various unions, including Madhnagar and Piprul, of the upazila. 

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Masudur Rahman, Naldanga Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Dewan Akramul Haque, among others, were present on the occasion.

The DC urged the rich people to stand by the cold affected poor people to mitigate their sufferings.
