BOGURA, Jan 21, 2024 (BSS) - A youth was killed in a road accident in

Manikchak area under Sadar upazila of the district last night.

The deceased was identified as Mehedi Hasan, 24, hailed from Chatiantola area
in the upazila.

Inspector of Bogura Sadar Thana Shahinuzzaman said the accident occurred when
a pickup van hit a motorcycle from behind in the area around 9 pm, leaving
the motorbike rider Mehedi critically injured on the spot.

Later, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where the duty-doctor declared him
dead.
