PABNA, Jan 24, 2024 (BSS) - A total of 500 blankets were distributed among the helpless and cold-hit people living in Sadar upazila of the district today.

The warm clothes were distributed from the relief and welfare fund of the NGO Federation of Pabna district unit.

Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Masud Alam handed over the blankets as the chief guest among the helpless and cold-hit people of the upazila with President of NGO Federation Pabna District unit Md Alauddin in the chair this morning.

The warm clothes distribution function was held at Pabna Police Lines High School and College ground this morning.

Vice-President of the NGO Federation Pabna District unit Md. Sharif Hossain, its Treasure Nasir Hossain, Principal of Pabna Police Lines High School and College Nikhil Chandra Kundu, district correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Rafiqul Islam Sweet, among others, were present, on the occasion.
