JOYPURHAT, Jan 30, 2024 (BSS) - A total of 100 blankets were distributed among the family members of the martyred of the Liberation War in Sadar upazila of the district today.

The warm clothes were distributed from the relief and welfare fund of the Jatiya Rabindra Sangeet Sammelan Parishad of Joypurhat district unit with the collaboration of the district administration.

Former Commander of the Zilla Muktijoddha Sangsad freedom fighter Amjad Hossain handed over the blankets among the martyred family members and cold-hit people of the upazila as the chief guest at a function with president of Rabindra Sangeet Sammelan Parishad of Joypurhat district unit freedom fighter Aminul Haque Babul in the chair this morning.

The warm clothes distribution function was held at Anandhara Shishu Kishore Sangeet School ground of the upazila.

Freedom fighter Majnur Rahman, organizer of Khelaghar Asar of Joypurhat district unit Tabibur Rahman, president of Anandhara Shishu Kishore Sangeet School Professor Aktarul Haque, among others, were present on the occasion.
