NARAYANGANJ, Feb 20, 2024 (BSS) - A man and his father in law were killed as
their private car hit an electric pole in Rupganj of the district today.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Ullah, 35, and his father in law
Siddiqur Rahman, 60, both of them hailed from Daudkandi upazila in Cumilla
district.

Inspector Abu Nayem Siddique of Kachpur Highway Thana said the accident
occurred as another private car hit their car from behind this morning in
Borpa area on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway. Mohammad Ullah died on the spot while
Siddiqur Rahman lost his breath at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Police seized the private car. A case was filed in this regard.
